A leading open-source technology firm is seeking an EMEA Marketing Manager. This fully remote role emphasizes the development and execution of marketing strategies across diverse industries. Ideal candidates will have B2B marketing experience, proficiency in SaaS, and strong communication skills. Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems to the global enterprise and technology markets. Our platform, Ubuntu, is widely used in enterprise initiatives such as public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. The company operates with 1200+ colleagues in 75+ countries and very few office-based roles, with teams meeting in person 2–4 times yearly to align on strategy and execution. This role is for an EMEA Marketing Manager who will develop long-term marketing strategy and execute campaigns across diverse products and industries to support Canonical’s growth.
This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role requiring close collaboration with regional sales, partner, product, and other marketing teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, technology marketing, and applying technology to marketing. The role emphasizes ownership of campaigns, collaboration, learning, curiosity, and continual improvement, with a drive to problem solve, get hands-on, experiment, measure, and use automation.
Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region. Reports to the EMEA and Americas regional marketing team manager.
Your base pay will depend on factors including location, experience, knowledge and skills. In addition to the base pay, certain roles are eligible for additional benefits including annual bonuses and sales incentives based on revenue or utilisation.
