Required

• A graduate of an accredited program for registered nurses
• BS in Nursing preferred
• Current unencumbered Pennsylvania State license to practice as a Registered Nurse required
• Current CPR/AED certification
• A passions for serving older adults

Experience

A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in related positions normally required.

General Responsibilities

• Ensures that the Department complies with all regulatory requirements; takes appropriate actions to respond to and correct any deficiencies resulting from regulatory surveys and inspections.
• Meets and communicates with resident family members, resident representatives, and resident’s clergy as needed or required.
• In consultation with the Medical Director, monitors the performance of all non-agency medical providers, providing on-site services to insure these individuals are providing the proper level of care in compliance with all appropriate Agency and regulatory requirements.
• Manages the Nursing Department, participates in the development and maintenance of a nursing services program
