Overview

We’re always looking to connect with talented Compositing Artists of all levels who are interested in joining our team on a freelance basis at RISE in Berlin. Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Creating high quality composites and integrating all elements into the sequence
• Matching our artificial elements to the shot plates and elevating fully artificial shots to a hyper realistic level
• Color correcting, retouching, rotoscoping, chromakeying, degraining and regraining of the images
• Collaborating with other artists on solving technical and creative challenges
• Working closely with various departments to ensure high quality standards of the production

Ideally you will have

• At least 1–2 years of working in a professional VFX environment
• Good eye for detail and realism
• Good knowledge of 3D space compositing and multi-channel EXR workflow
• Solid knowledge of Nuke; general knowledge of Maya and / or Houdini is a plus
• Nuke scripting and customization in Python skills is a plus
• Familiarity with the USD pipeline is a plus

Location & Work Requirements

• Freelance position based in Berlin, Germany
• A hybrid or remote work setting is possible, but you must be based and registered in Berlin, Germany
• EU citizenship or a pre-existing German work permit required
