A technology company in Germany seeks a Community Manager to build and manage online communities. You will oversee user engagement, design localized content and campaigns, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates have over 4 years of experience in community management, effective communication skills, and intercultural sensitivity. Knowledge of AI is preferred.
What you will do
Build and manage localized online communities in the US using regionally preferred platforms such as WhatsApp, Reddit, Discord, Facebook Groups, and Telegram.
Monitor sentiment, engagement metrics, and overall community health to identify growth and retention opportunities.
Channel user insights into broader product, growth, and go-to-market strategies.
Design and execute localized content, events, and campaigns tailored to different local user segments.
Identify, recruit, and collaborate with local brand ambassadors and advocates to scale community impact.
Localize global campaigns to align with market-specific tone, behaviors, and cultural preferences.
Ensure all operations comply with relevant compliance and privacy regulations.
What we are looking for
4+years of experience in user community management, marketing, and operations.
Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
Proven ability to plan and scale grassroots community programs.
Intercultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt brand voice for different markets.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the tech industry (AI hardware and/or software).
Proficiency in Spanish and French.
Previous involvement in building local ambassador or moderator programs.
