WORK TYPE : Hybrid (3 days at office, 2 days working from home)

VISA SUPPORT : No

TYPE : Permanent, full-time (6-months probation period)

WORKING HOURS : 8 : 45-17 : 45 from Monday to Friday

SALARY : €40-60K depending on experience, plus good benefits

START : ASAP

LOCATION : home office

Business Development Representative Main Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy to engage university professors and research institutions
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in academia, including professors and research heads
  • Promote vacuum pump solutions
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align business strategies with market needs
  • Attend academic conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads
  • Provide technical presentations
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and after-sales support
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Business Development Representative Ideal Candidate :

  • Business level of fluency in German and English
  • Japanese language skill is advantageous
  • Sales experience is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel to universities, conferences, and industry events as required
  • Having strong communication skill
  • Having high level of accountability and responsibility
  • Being proactive and having solution-oriented mindset
  • Being able to handle multi-tasks under a fast-paced environment
  • Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
