PTC is looking for an ambitious Germany-based Sales Leader for the ALM Segment in EMEAI to lead the sales of PTC’s industry-leading Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software and continue our track record of double-digit growth.

The right candidate will be responsible for building and leading a world-class sales team, developing talent, implementing sales processes, and partnering with the field selling ecosystem, product management, marketing, inside sales, and other functional organizations to drive new ACV bookings for ALM within EMEAI.

The ideal candidate is passionate about PTC, has a proven track record of sales success, and is eager to learn, grow within the organization, and deliver exceptional customer success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive ALM sales strategy aligned with company goals to drive double-digit revenue growth and market share expansion.
  2. Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of five ALM sales specialists, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to achieve targets. Recruit top talent to grow the team.
  3. Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and optimize sales territories for coverage.
  4. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Drive new ACV growth and pipeline creation, managing all KPIs according to a Sales Leader Management Operating Rhythm.
  7. Enable the sales team with training on customer conversations, product knowledge, and sales techniques to enhance effectiveness.
  8. Collaborate with regional sales leadership, inside sales, marketing, product management, and customer support to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
  9. Manage and allocate regional sales budgets to maximize ROI.
  10. Conduct weekly forecast and pipeline reviews to track opportunities and encourage additional sales.

  • Understanding of the ALM industry, core solutions, competitors, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage key accounts and cultivate customer relationships.
  • Proficiency in SFDC CRM, Clari, Qlik, and other sales tools.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Creative, collaborative mindset with regional effectiveness.

Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in ALM sales.
  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel within EMEAI as needed.
