Job summary

A leading Canadian university is seeking a Research Assistant Technician IV to oversee research projects on youth mental health. This multifaceted role involves developing protocols, managing lab operations, and collaborating with a research team. Ideal candidates will possess a graduate degree in Social Work or Psychology, with clinical experience and strong communication skills. This position is part-time and grant-funded, with flexible work conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clinical experience working with youth and families with mental illness required.
  • Education/training in qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Principal Investigator and project team in all aspects of research.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations and finances of the youth mental health lab.
  • Develop and write protocols and safety procedures.
