Qualifications

• Three years recent experience working with Indigenous children/youth and families.
• Eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
• Valid BC Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments with Indigenous child and youth clients.
• Provide culturally sensitive treatment services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for continuity of care.

Skills

Knowledge of recovery principles in mental illness

Comprehensive knowledge of Indigenous health and community services

Demonstrated ability to provide culturally safe care

Effective communication skills

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling or Psychology
