A leading software development firm in Toronto is seeking a Sr. Software Developer - Full Stack to design and implement innovative web solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development with experience in .NET technologies and Agile methodologies. Candidates should be prepared for a Technical Test prior to the interview. This role has a hybrid work model, requiring office presence three days a week, and offers a contract lasting over 8 months with potential extensions.
Qualifications
- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support.
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development process.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology for the maintenance of applications.
- Proficient in full-stack development including database management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement overall solution architecture.
- Ensure the stack is designed for speed and scalability.
- Integrate front-end UIs with constructed APIs.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and upkeep.

General Skills:

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience in design, code, test and debugging applications
- Experience in one or more programming languages
- Experience with relational database technologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
Full Stack Skills:
- Proficient with both front-end and back-end development, including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps
- Design and implementation of the overall solution architecture
- Implementation of approved user interfaces, design and deployment of databases
- Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
- Design and construction of REST API services
- Integrating Front-End UIs with the constructed APIs
- Supporting the implementation/upkeep of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Must-Haves:
- .NET Framework and/or .NET Core-based design, development, and testing
- Responsive Web front-end, Web APIs, and web services design, development, and testing
- Angular
