Community Living Hamilton
A community support organization in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking Direct Support Facilitators to assist clients in group living environments. The role emphasizes building effective relationships through respect and dignity, ensuring client safety, and implementing individualized support plans. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Certifications in First Aid/CPR and NVCI are required. Fluency in a second language is an added benefit.
Direct Support Facilitators - Group Living provide support and assistance to clients within our group living settings, delivering social, recreational and learning based activities within the community.
Week 1: Saturday(10:00am -10:00pm), Wednesday (11:00pm-9:00am)
Week 2: Wednesday (11:00pm-9:00am) and Sunday (10:00am -10:00pm). This is a sleep/awake shift.
An equivalent combination of Education, Experience and Ability acceptable to the Director and Manager may be considered.
