Job summary :

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for proposing, designing, implementing and documenting various infrastructure systems in a Microsoft environment. You will act as an expert for our customers, mainly in the pharmaceutical sector, on projects of various sizes, in a context that complies with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.

You may also be called upon to work on the company's internal needs. The position may be telecommuting, but the candidate must be able to travel to customer sites in Montreal on occasion.

Main responsibilities :

• Analyze and understand our customers' needs in order to propose the right solutions;
• Define, implement, maintain and document :

Physical and virtual server architecture (Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix, etc.);

• The architecture of storage solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.);
• Network architecture such as network switches and firewalls, as well as configuration requirements (VLANs, routing, etc.);
• Cybersecurity elements such as IPS, IDS, firewall rules and others;
• Security and event management systems (SIEM);
• Backup management systems;
• Microsoft's Office 365 / Azure environment;
• Various cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions;
• Web and SQL Server infrastructure;
• Help solve complex problems (level 3);
• Assist level 1 and 2 support from the help desk when required;

Technical requirements :

• College diploma (DEC) in computer science (or related field);
• Bilingual in spoken and written French and English;
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft tools;
• Experience in configuring, operating, maintaining and monitoring networking equipment, servers and storage of various brands;
• Experience in installing, configuring and managing a VMware, Nutanix or Hyper-V environment;
• Experience with backup software such as Veeam;
• Knowledge of the Trackwise document management tool;
• Experience with various cybersecurity solutions;

Assets :

• Have already managed a technical team of more than 3 people
• Experience in a GMP environment, particularly in writing and revising technical documentation in line with GMP requirements;
• MCSA / MSCE certification
• VMware VCP certification
• CCNA or CCNP
