This role is with a company that is a leader in the video streaming industry. This role is great for someone located in Canada looking for a remote role. You will be working in PST working hours.
You Will:
Designing, building, and running the data infrastructure to support the organization's growing data needs.
Promoting best practices, and improving the quality of the internal data products inside the video organization.
Suggesting, and defending solutions to make the video data platform best in class.
Develop scalable RESTful services
Manage large scale AWS based infrastructure
You Have:
5+ years of experience building large scale reliable data backends, in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
Experience distilling complex requirements into scalable solutions.
Experience promoting best practices by example, and mentoring junior engineers.
2+ years of experience working with Amazon Web Services, S3, EMR, Redshift, etc.
Salary range: 100-120k depending on experience
