- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned catastrophe territory
- Post‑secondary education, diploma, or relevant certification
- Experience handling catastrophe or large‑loss residential property claims
- CIP designation completed or in progress
- Proficiency with property estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, Xactanalysis)
- IICRC Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
