Job summary
A retail company in Winnipeg is looking for a supervisor to oversee staff and manage operations. Responsibilities include training staff, organizing inventory, and ensuring high customer service standards. Responsibilities

- Assign daily tasks to sales workers.
- Hire, train, and schedule staff.
Education
Education:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- or equivalent experience
Tasks:
- Supervise staff (apprentices, interns, design team, etc.)
- Assign sales workers to duties
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
- Establish work schedules
- Sell merchandise
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
- Manage cash
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
