  • Pay Rate: C$40 - C$80 per Hour
Role Overview

Seeking one (1) Financial Analyst to support Private Investment portfolios on a full-time contract basis through June 30, 2026.

The successful candidate will play a key role in daily transaction processing, investment reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and operational efficiency across private investment operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review external notices and record private investment transactions (capital calls, distributions, loan rollovers, interest capitalization, etc.) in SimCorp Dimension
  • Support investment closings including documentation review, investment setup, transaction entries, and settlements
  • Update and maintain market values for private fund investments for valuation purposes
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations
  • Process invoice payments and record invoice transactions
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis for management and internal stakeholders
  • Resolve portfolio issues under strict deadlines while ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Support operational procedures and audit checklist requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Investment, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced financial services environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA or CFA designation (completed or in progress)
  • Knowledge of various investment products
  • Experience with illiquid asset classes, including:
    • Infrastructure
    • Timber
    • Private Equity
    • Private Debt
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension or similar investment management systems
