Job details: Location Jasper, AB T0E 1E0. Workplace information: On site. Salary: $38.00 to $44.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 37.5 to 44 hours per week. Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Read blueprints and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Instruct apprentices. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections and fixtures. Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes. Join pipes using various equipment. Test pipes for leaks. Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
Requirements: Plumber Trade Certification, Plumber Red Seal Certificate, Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Physically demanding work requiring bending, crouching, and handling heavy loads.
Work conditions: Confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and various work settings including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. Relocation costs not covered by the employer.
