A local contracting company in Ontario is seeking a qualified Truck and Coach Technician. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on commercial trucks, performing regular maintenance, and ensuring safety standards. Sturgeon Falls Brush and Contracting Limited is looking for a qualified and reliable Truck and Coach Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial trucks or coaches, with a strong understanding of heavy-duty systems and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on fleet vehicles
- Repair and replace components such as brakes, engines, suspensions, and HVAC systems
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders
- Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to industry standards
- Communicate with the Service Manager and team to coordinate work
- Valid Truck and Coach Technician License (310T or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicle systems
- Ability to read technical diagrams and service manuals
- Valid driver’s license (DZ or AZ license is an asset)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
