PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Administer medications in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
• Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection / infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
• Complete necessary documentation according to policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
• Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, either individually or in groups.
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints following Innomar training and policies.
• Maintain reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and Clinics KPIs, based on the employment agreement.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling, and other departments to meet appointment and treatment timelines.
• Coordinate with patients and caregivers for appointment setup and drug delivery to homes and clinics.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
• Attend specialized training as required.
• Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, delegating tasks as authorized.
• Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
• Follow all nursing, clinic, and safety procedures and standards.
• Complete ongoing education and training within specified timeframes.
• Perform other duties as required, including standby / on-call responsibilities.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
• One year of IV initiation experience preferred.
• Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
• Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
• ACLS, PALS, MS, and CVAA certifications are assets, as is experience with central venous lines / ports.
• Proficient in MS Office and internet use.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the designated area.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :

• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and insurance.

The successful candidate may interact daily with English-speaking customers, patients, or team members from cross-functional teams.
