Lake of the Woods District Hospital is actively seeking Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) throughout the hospital. Opportunities are available in various specialty areas, including Acute Adult Medicine, Pediatrics, Acute Medical/Surgical, and Mental Health. Learn more about our programs here.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or ability to obtain it
• Ability to function independently and demonstrate competence in Acute Care and/or Complex Continuing Care Nursing within an RPN scope
• Current BLS certification with ongoing competence
• Certification in IV Therapy and Blood Glucose Monitoring, with ongoing competence
• Ability to deliver medications in an acute care setting
• Evidence of professional development
• Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• Knowledge of First Nations culture (asset)
• Reliable attendance record
