A regional health network in Toronto is seeking a Health Records Chart Reviewer to ensure the accuracy of inpatient medical coding and data quality. The ideal candidate will be CHIM certified with at least 5 years of coding experience in an acute hospital setting. Responsibilities include performing audits, developing documentation standards, and maintaining compliance with health data protocols. Strong communication and analytical skills are required, alongside proficiency in relevant software tools.

As a Data Analyst chart reviewer, you must be a CHIM certified with a depth knowledge of reviewing and analysing Inpatient medical coding (ICD10CA/CCI) in an Acute hospital setting.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing a variety of health information functions related to various databases within Health Coding services. The Data Analyst chart reviewer is the liaison between the clinicians and the HIM professionals, ensuring data quality concerns are appropriately addressed as it relates to collection and optimization of clinical documentation and ICD10CA/CCI coding. You may be scheduled at the General or Birchmount campus based on departmental needs.
