A performance agency is seeking a skilled WordPress Website Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites. This full-time position is based in Ontario, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.

You will work closely with designers, content creators, and SEO specialists to build user‑friendly, optimized, and scalable WordPress solutions.
- Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
- Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
- Implement responsive and mobile‑friendly designs across all devices.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress issues, including plugin conflicts, broken pages, and database issues.
- Manage and integrate third‑party APIs, plugins, and tools to enhance functionality.
- Ensure website security and backups, protecting against vulnerabilities and threats.
- Convert Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs into fully functional WordPress websites.
- Implement custom functionalities using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Set up and manage WooCommerce stores (for eCommerce projects).
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure proper on‑page SEO structure.
- Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, updates, and best practices.
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of live websites.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and WordPress Codex.
