A healthcare organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking an Addiction Worker to assist with treatment services for adult clients in addiction programs. Responsibilities include facilitating group activities and monitoring client engagement through treatment services. Applicants should have a minimum of a two-year diploma in the social services or addictions field, along with at least one year of relevant experience. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor – Crossroads Centre the Addiction Worker is responsible for assisting in the delivery of treatment services for clients of Adult Addiction & Problem Gambling Programs. Key responsibilities include: providing information and direct enquiries for services supporting and monitoring clients through entry and engagement in the continuum of treatment services (pre, post live‑in treatment and aftercare supports), the facilitation of group activities, and ensuring the maintenance of security and upkeep of the facility and program resources.
