Job summary
A leading hospitality organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. This role involves shaping the financial strategy, overseeing all financial operations, and providing guidance on business development initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and corporate finance, leadership skills, and the ability to work remotely. This position offers a fixed-term contract for 12 months with flexible hours, located in Jasper, Alberta.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Oversee all financial operations, including bookkeeping, forecasting, account reconciliation, tax strategy, payroll and metrics.
- Prepare and present financial reports for the director.

- Oversee all financial operations, including bookkeeping, forecasting, account reconciliation, tax strategy, payroll and metrics.
- Provide strategic guidance on business development initiatives to enhance revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare and present financial reports for the director.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and corporate finance.
- Previous experience with a mental health group practice an asset.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in budgeting processes and account reconciliation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to work remotely.
