Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson
Job summary
A leading industrial company in New Brunswick is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson to ensure mill availability through maintenance, inspections, and repairs of mechanical equipment. Candidates should have a Journeyman Pipefitter certification and ideally possess 2-5 years of experience in an industrial setting. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential. The role includes collaboration across departments and may require occasional overtime or shift work.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Pipefitter certification required.
- Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in industrial or manufacturing.
- Journeyman Welder certification an asset.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Execute safety and environmental compliance strategies.
- Be available for occasional overtime and shift relief.
Skills
As a Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson, you will work with a team of fully flexible tradespersons to ensure mill availability is maximized in an efficient manner. With a focus on reliability and Predictive / Preventative maintenance, you will be involved with inspections and repairs to a variety of mill mechanical equipment.
- Journeyman Pipefitter.
- Ideally 2-5 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Previousmaintenance experience in heavy industry would be considered an asset
- Journeyman Welder (F3, F4 Pressure Pipe ticket, Tig & Mig) would be considered an asset
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
- Problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- In addition to your immediate team, you will work closely with other departments, which consists of Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, Supply & Services and E/I
- Together with your team, you will help execute the strategies and initiatives that drive safety, environmental compliance, quality, and production goals
- Whilemainly requiringday work, there will be occasional requirements for overtime, on-call or shift relief
