The Role

We are seeking a Talent Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment of growth. This role requires more than the ability to manage campaigns. It demands someone who can think critically, operate under pressure, and bring tenacity to the pursuit of opportunities for our talent.

As a Talent Manager, you will be entrusted with the business trajectory of creators who sit at the intersection of commerce and culture. You will not only manage what is in motion, but also seek opportunities that comes next. Your primary function is to use industry and performance insights to secure premium partnerships, build long-term relationships, and ensure our roster is positioned at the highest levels of the industry.

This is a role for a professional who thrives in high-performance and high-volume environments and sees opportunity where others see limitation. It requires a balance of strategic foresight, cultural fluency, and commercial acumen. Above all, it requires a commitment to results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Revenue with Intention
  • Develop, manage, and expand a robust pipeline of opportunities. Deliver a large volume, consistent outbound pitching, decks, and presentations to help exceed revenue benchmarks, and secure premium, long-term brand deals. Negotiate opportunities with precision and ensure our talent is represented with both strength and sophistication.
  • Cultivate Talent Growth
  • Serve as both strategist and advocate for a select roster of creators. Guide their careers with thoughtful counsel, host regular strategy sessions, and align their personal vision with commercial opportunities. Pursue avenues beyond brand campaigns, including product collaborations, speaking engagements, publishing, and media appearances.
  • Orchestrate Campaign Excellence
  • Collaboration with our campaign team to oversee campaigns from pitch to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, deliverables are elevated, and execution reflects the premium standard of the agency. Partner with internal teams for seamless delivery while maintaining high-touch communication with talent and brands alike.
  • Engage the Industry
  • Represent Agency Cliquish and our roster at key industry events, activations, and gatherings. Build enduring relationships with brand and agency partners. Offer perspective on cultural and market trends, positioning our talent as leaders and our agency as a trusted partner in shaping the future of influencer marketing.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in influencer marketing sales, media sales, sponsorship sales, or talent management.
  • Proven record of securing long-term and premium brand deals, including six-figure contracts.
  • Strong relationships with brand and agency stakeholders (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring or developing junior managers and support staff.
  • A history of exceeding revenue quotas with resilience in high-volume pitching environments.
  • Sharp negotiation skills with confidence in redlining and structuring contracts.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability settings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present ideas persuasively to senior executives.
  • Cultural fluency and deep knowledge of digital platforms, emerging trends, and the influencer economy.
  • A passion for advancing the visibility and impact of Black and BIPOC creators.
