What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide timely and thorough resolution to customer issues related to software applications
- Monitor the support call queue and manage new tickets, ensuring proper ownership
- Collaborate with internal departments for issue escalation and problem-solving
- Develop a deep understanding of application features to address customer inquiries
- Provide recommendations to prevent issue recurrence and enhance product or process
What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree or technical college degree in computer sciences, software engineering, software development, or a related field
- Familiarity and experience in a Customer Support environment
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent communication skills to manage and shape customer expectations
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives or support tickets simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience delivering solutions and support to the utility industry
- Experience with Customer Information Systems
- Software experience in applications such as Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Uniface, or Web technologies (Node.js, Angular, JavaScript, JSP)
