Job summary
A leading interior design firm in Alberta is seeking an experienced designer to develop design concepts into detailed technical drawings. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit is a plus, and 1-3 years of design experience. Competitive salary and commission offered.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or Drafting Technology.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant drafting/design experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts into technical drawings.
- Produce floor plans and detailed construction documents.
- Create and update 2D/3D visuals and renderings.

Basic Up to $2600 + Commission + AWS/Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Develop design concepts into technical drawings with designers and architects
- Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
- Create and update 2D/3D visuals, renderings, and design boards
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards
- Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and material selections
- Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for project needs
- Support the team during project presentations and client meetings
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and interior materials
- 1–3 years of relevant drafting/design experience preferred
