A manufacturing company in Alberta seeks a quality engineer to ensure supplier quality compliance and manage inspections. Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers on quality issues, overseeing lab operations, and maintaining quality data. Candidates should hold a diploma in Engineering or Science and have knowledge in analytical reporting and SPC tools. Transport is provided to the working location in Woodland.

Salary Package : Basic UP TO $4500 + VB (Average 2-3 months)
Working Location: Woodland - Transport Provided
Knowledge in mechanical test equipment / chemical test is a plus
Ensure supplier quality meets customer and regulatory requirements across manufacturing and packaging.
Coordinate with suppliers on quality issues, reports, and improvement actions.
Manage incoming material inspections, review quality certificates, and monitor product compliance (RoHS, REACH, etc.).
Oversee in-house lab operations, equipment calibration, and analysis reporting.
Maintain quality data, enforce QMS/EHS standards, and manage nonconforming materials.
Diploma in Engineering, Science, or related field
Able to understand and interpret analytical reports (e.g. GCMS, FTIR, IC, SEM/EDX, Microscope, Tensile/Abrasion tests).
Good knowledge and practical use of SPC tools and Minitab for data analysis.
