Permanent, full-time opportunity

Location - Remote (Canada)

Though we have an office based in Calgary, this is a remote position that is open to candidates across Canada. PurposeMed's office is located on the unceded and traditional territories of the peoples of the Treaty 7 region which includes the nations of the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda which consists of the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Good Stoney Bands, and people of the Tsuut'ina First Nation. The city of Calgary is also homeland to the historic Northwest Métis and to the Otipemisiwak Métis government, Métis Nation Battle River Territory, Nose Hill Métis District 5 and Elbow Métis District 6.

Who we hope to find

PurposeMed is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist (Growth Marketing Specialist) who can manage the strategy and growth of our acquisition channels. Reporting into the Director, Performance Marketing, your goal will be to scale and optimize these channels to ultimately serve more patients across Freddie in both the US & Canada. You'll identify opportunities, conduct experiments, and collaborate with the marketing and product growth teams.

In this role, you\'ll make an impact by
  • Executing & Owning Paid Channels (50%)
  • Taking full ownership of Meta, TikTok and other paid social channels, driving performance through hands-on management and strategic oversight
  • Monitoring campaign pacing, performance, and troubleshooting delivery issues
  • Maintaining and updating a campaign calendar across creative, copy, targeting, objectives, and landing pages
  • Leading weekly reporting: channel performance summaries, creative insights, and test learnings
  • Collaborating closely with external platform reps (e.g., Meta, TikTok)
  • Strategically Testing & Optimizing (20%)
  • Using data and experimentation to fuel performance and push boundaries on what paid acquisition can do
  • Developing and executing hypotheses-driven experiments across channels
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve CAC, conversion rates, and creative effectiveness
  • Analyzing results to optimize budget allocation and inform strategic decisions
  • Building and sharing creative testing reports with Brand and Growth teams
  • Collaborating Creatively & Cross-Functionally (30%)
  • Translating performance insights into creative and strategic direction for internal partners
  • Writing data-informed briefs for creative teams and freelancers
  • Collaborating with the Brand team on influencer content used in paid media
  • Coordinating timelines and deliverables across content production workflows
We need someone who has
  • 2+ years experience working in Performance or Growth Marketing who is able to manage multiple ad accounts with confidence
  • Experience working with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Strong data analytics skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, and ad platform dashboards
  • An experimentation mindset and a familiarity with A/B testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor your message to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge
  • Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to pivot and adapt quickly when necessary
It would also be great if you have
  • Experience working at a high-performing startup
  • Experience working with influencers and content creators for conversion-focused campaigns
  • Experience with other digital ad platforms (e.g. Reddit, Google, Snap, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL
Compensation
  • $87,000 - $102,000 CAD / a year
