Role and Project

We are looking for Ontario Curriculum English or Language Teachers to support the development of high-quality content for our online Ontario English/Language offering. In this contract-based role, you will have the opportunity to write multiple lesson scripts that address specific parts of the Strand B curriculum across Grades 6 to 9. Lesson scripts will cover a depth of knowledge and align with the set curriculum standards.

What this opportunity looks like

This opportunity might suit you if:

  • You have at least one year of experience teaching the new Ontario English/Language Curriculum for Grades 6 to 9, and two-five years of experience teaching at least one of B2.1 or B2.2 within Grades 6 to 9 as a whole
  • You are familiar with the Right to Read initiative (preferred, but not required)
  • You are experienced in and enjoy making teaching resources
  • You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with technology
  • You have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently
Project Details

The project will commence late September and continue until late November. We require a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Employment will be contract-based and payment will be based on deliverable items.
