A local government authority in Vernon, BC is seeking a Head Chef. The successful candidate will oversee menu planning, manage kitchen staff, and prepare meals. Candidates must have completed secondary school, hold a Cook Trade Certification, and have 3 to 5 years of culinary experience. This is an on-site position; no remote work is available.

- Estimate supply costs and food items.
- Maintain records of food costs and inventory.
- Supervise cooks and kitchen staff.
- Prepare and cook meals for functions.
- Plan menus ensuring quality standards.

- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
