We are currently recruiting for a Senior Casualty Adjuster to join our inside claims team to work remotely in Canada.

1. Evaluation of commercial auto and property claims through loss investigation.
2. Negotiation of settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
3. Maintaining adequate production levels and customer relationships.
4. Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information.
5. Evaluation of coverage, liability, and quantum.
6. Negotiation, settlement, and finalization of claims.
7. Accurate recording, reporting, and presentation of files.
8. Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records.
9. Collaboration with managers to maintain client relations.

1. Minimum 6 years of technical claims handling experience in commercial auto and property claims.
2. Post-secondary education in an insurance-related field is an asset.
3. CIP designation or working towards CIP designation is required.
4. Licensed Independent Adjuster with the ability to maintain a full adjusting license in your home province; multiple provincial licenses preferred.
5. Strong computer skills, including Office 365 and Windows 10.
6. Outstanding customer service skills and a team-oriented approach.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
10. Proficiency in application-based PC skills.
11. Commitment to continuing education as required by Crawford & Company, the province, or professional trade associations.
