Job summary
A leading global employer in Calgary is seeking a full-time WHS Specialist. This role focuses on workplace health and safety, requiring the maintenance of accurate metrics and conducting risk assessments. Candidates need 1+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma. Knowledge of Canadian OHS laws is essential. Flexibility in shift work is required, including nights and weekends. This position aims to foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of workplace health & safety related field experience.
- Experience using Microsoft Word in a professional capacity.
- Knowledge of Canadian OHS Provincial Laws.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
- Support management efforts for compliance with corporate expectations.
- Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed and new equipment.
