Job summary
A dynamic manufacturing company in New Brunswick is seeking a full-time CAD Designer to create computer-aided designs for tank products. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in drafting, is proficient in SolidWorks, and is bilingual in French and English. - Create computer-aided designs for AGB products
- Communicate with clients for product development
- Collaborate with the sales department to know the specifications
- Work with the production department to ensure products are made according to specifications
- Degree in industrial, mechanical or civil drafting techniques, or junior engineering title (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software
- Organizational skills and excellent work ethic
- Attention to detail and thoroughness
- Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
- Bilingualism (French/English, spoken and written) an asset
- Experience in the manufacturing field, particularly in metal fabrication, an asset
- Knowledge in UL/ULC tank design a great asset
- Priority will be given to candidates with experience
- Produce computer-assisted drawings (CAD) for tank design at AGB / Guardian Tanks
- Collaborate with customers on product development
- Communicate with sales department to obtain technical specifications
- Follow-up with production team to ensure products conform to established drawings
