A leading home electrification company is seeking a Purchasing Manager in Kitchener. This full-time role involves leading and developing a purchasing team, managing procurement operations, and negotiating contracts to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in purchasing, with proficiency in ERP software and strong leadership skills. Competitive pay of $100,000 - $120,000 per annum, with benefits including health and dental care, life insurance, and education support.
Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better. Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable. We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Purchasing Manager to lead and execute our procurement operations. In this role, you will serve as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on contributor — setting the direction for our purchasing function while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day procurement activities. You will be responsible for acquiring high‑quality materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and building a high‑performing purchasing team. You will identify and develop reliable supplier relationships, negotiate favourable terms, and ensure all purchases meet our quality, cost, and delivery standards — all while mentoring and guiding junior team members. You will be the critical bridge between internal stakeholders, external partners, and the team you lead.
Full‑time
$100,000 – $120,000 per annum (depending on market and experience)
In person – Vancouver or Kitchener
Do you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job? If you have the core skills and experience that we’re looking for and are willing to use your talent to learn the rest, we encourage you to apply!
