Job Description

• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload commercial vehicles efficiently.
• Inspect products thoroughly and assemble sample orders manually to meet quality standards.
• Monitor and maintain product quality, ensuring all specifications are met.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Report any product discrepancies or equipment issues to the Yard Supervisor promptly.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with safety training.
• Support overall operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with forklift operators, truck drivers, and team members to achieve performance targets effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating forklifts and yard equipment in production or warehouse environments.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality.
• Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety protocols with a proactive approach to compliance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear interaction with team members and supervisors.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle challenges and situations effectively and efficiently.
• Manual dexterity and proficiency in handling equipment and materials with precision.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
• Recognizes the importance of showing up on time every day to maintain production flow and team performance.
