Job Requisition: Sr. Manager, Engineering & Operations
IoT Solutions Team, Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)

• Reporting to VP, IoT Solutions; responsible for managing 2 direct reports
• Senior level management of the IoT design and operations team in the implementation of large‑scale IoT projects. Provide a high level of strategic oversight and operational leadership, guiding the delivery of complex smart building projects from inception through execution.
• Project financial accountability of the assigned portfolio is central to this role. Drive project successful financial performance, meeting regularly with project managers and project management office to ensure forecasting and financial reporting cadence process is followed.
• Responsible for ensuring that all initiatives align with defined scope, schedule, and budget parameters, leveraging Blackstone’s project management protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Building Performance, Clean Infrastructure, Maintenance and IoT teams to provide the highest quality energy, carbon and comfort performance outcomes for our clients’ projects, programs and services which Blackstone provides.
• Champion health and safety, quality assurance, and client satisfaction, while also driving automation enhancements, fault detection diagnostics, and smart system integrations to elevate building performance and operational efficiency.
• You will serve as the primary liaison with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and alignment of goals. They are also responsible for coaching and developing staff, promoting best practices in energy‑efficient design and implementation. Achieving financial targets across the assigned portfolio is a key metric of success, reinforcing your unique blend of technical depth, business acumen, and team leadership.
