A leading engineering firm in Quebec seeks a wetlands and vegetation specialist to provide technical and strategic support for environmental planning. Responsibilities include developing field study plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting training. Candidates must have at least 8 years of related experience and a relevant degree. Bilingualism in French and English is preferred, contributing to a hybrid work culture and diverse career growth opportunities.
We are seeking a specialist in wetlands and vegetation with strong expertise in environmental planning. The successful candidate will provide technical and strategic support for impact assessments, regulatory compliance, and planning activities. This role will be key in designing and implementing field studies, developing sampling strategies, preparing project descriptions, and delivering technical training programs. The specialist will also contribute to impact assessment documentation and participate in consultations with stakeholders and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental requirements.
*This position requires knowledge of another language besides French, namely English, as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional management team and will need to collaborate with colleagues outside Quebec.
