Quantum Research Lead for External-Partner Projects
Job summary
A leading research institution in Sherbrooke, Canada is seeking a skilled researcher specializing in quantum computing. The successful candidate will manage research projects in collaboration with the external partner PASQAL, supervise students, and contribute to scientific publications. The ideal candidate has a PhD and at least 5 years of research experience in theoretical quantum physics or quantum information. This position offers a dynamic research environment and opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- PhD in theoretical quantum physics, quantum information, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of research experience in quantum computing and quantum information.
- Experience managing deliverables for an external partner in the quantum domain.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous technology watch by reviewing literature daily.
- Define projects and deliverables with the external partner (PASQAL).
- Assist in supervising students or interns in the specialized subgroup.
- Assist in writing scientific articles and publications.
- Present project results at conferences and scientific events.
