Tallman Truck Centre has immediate openings for Licensed Automotive, Truck and Coach Technicians (310T AND 310S) and Registered Automotive, Truck and Coach Apprentices.
Reporting to the Service Manager, this full‑time position is responsible to diagnose problems and make repairs to all types of trucks, buses, trailers, and other automotive vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationships with customers and co‑workers.
- Diagnose issues and recommend required repairs. Troubleshooting experience.
- Write up quotes and communicate with customers.
- Perform required repairs.
- Assist other team members when assigned.
- Design and recommend preventative maintenance programs to customers.
- Maintain a safe, clean, productive and efficient work area.
- Record time spent, parts used and repairs and/or maintenance conducted in shop system.
- Wear and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Licensed or Registered Apprentice 310T or 310S
- Good communication skills and work attitude
- Quality Driven
- Valid Driver's License and a good driving record
- Criminal Record Check
- Driver's Abstract
- Education: High school or equivalent
- Ensure all required certificates are current
