Job summary
A leading dental organization in London, Ontario, seeks a Licensed Orthodontist to establish and grow a specialty program within a collaborative group practice. The ideal candidate will have full orthodontic skills, be patient-focused, and ready to engage with a diverse patient base. Opportunities for mentorship and a clear path to partnership are available.
Qualifications
- Licensed Orthodontist (RCDSO) or experienced International Orthodontist.
- Ability to work with brackets/wires and clear aligners.
- Valid CPR certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a specialty orthodontic program.
- Manage referrals and patient flow effectively.
- Collaborate with GPs for patient care.

Build and grow a specialty program with a strong referral base across 5 clinics
Start Date : September 11, 2025
Open to New Grads : Yes – Licensed Orthodontists in Ontario or International Orthodontists with Canadian experience considered
- Twice per month to start, growing to weekly
- Minimum 2 operatories dedicated to ortho days
- Flexibility to help design and grow the program
Hub at Southwood Dental Colonel Talbot with referrals from 5 additional practices (10 GPs total)
Treatment Coordinator + PM team managing referrals, pre-determinations, and consult coordination
- Traditional Orthodontics (brackets / wires)
- Clear Aligners (Invisalign or equivalent – office will support preferred system)
- Opportunity to shape ortho protocols, build patient flow, and establish long-term presence
- PMS : Tracker | iOS, Digital X-rays, Carrier system in place (open to new systems)
- Dedicated ortho DA being hired (opportunity to help train)
- Strong admin and clinical support team
- Consistent referral base across 5+ clinics
- Autonomy to design and grow the orthodontic program
- Loyal, diverse patient base in a rapidly growing area
- Collaborative group practice with 10+ referring dentists
- Licensed Orthodontist (RCDSO) or experienced International Orthodontist
- Confident in full scope of orthodontics (brackets / wires + clear aligners)
- Personable, patient-focused, strong communicator
- Self-sufficient and collaborative with GPs and staff

- Graduate from an accredited DDS / DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
