The Lead High Performance Coach is responsible for designing and delivering elite-level training programs for athletes across a variety of sports. This role combines hands-on coaching with leadership, mentorship, and operational oversight to ensure the consistent execution of high-performance systems, athlete development, and team standards. The Lead Coach will be an integral part of ensuring the House of Greatness standard is set and upheld each and every day.

Through this position, you will be joining a dynamic, growth-focused performance environment, with a supportive team of High Performance Coaches. Our goal is to provide you with the opportunity to make a real impact on the next generation of athletes.

• Lead training sessions while scheduled to be on the floor
• Cue and coach members through the program, ensuring movements are performed safely and effectively
• Facilitate the struggle. Be the person to push our members to achieve more.
• Utilize empathy and compassion when coaching. Remember “people do not care what you know until they know that you care.”
• Act as a role model and culture carrier, embodying the values of House of Greatness on and off the floor.

• Design bi-monthly strength & conditioning programs with progressions tailored to different groups of members
• Maintain athlete testing data, and integrate testing protocols into monthly programming. Use testing results to adjust programming accordingly (load, progression, etc.)
• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in strength & conditioning, sports science, and recovery.

• Host monthly training sessions with fellow coaches to train them on upcoming programs
• Host monthly check-ins with each coach individually to collect feedback, provide feedback and do an overall check-in
• Manage High School co-op & University Intern student(s), including training, leading task list, checklists, providing feedback, etc.)
• Hold bi-monthly check-ins with all interns to collect feedback, provide feedback and do an overall check-in
• On-call assistance for team of coaches

• Assist in facility upkeep by completing cleaning tasks based on cleaning schedule
• Maintain member relationships (weekly check-ins, attendance checks, coordinating training schedules, etc.)
• Attend weekly virtual Lead Coach meetings
• Ensure systems, cues, and coaching language are standardized across sessions and teams.
• Lead feedback loop between President, Director of Operations and team of High Performance Coaches.
• Represent House of Greatness at internal and external events, showcases, or camps as needed.
