A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Diagnostic System Architect to lead the development of diagnostic strategies. The role requires expertise in diagnostics and engineering, with responsibilities including defining diagnostic requirements and mentoring professionals. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Markham, Canada.
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) three times per week, at minimum.

The Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls (VMEC) Body Controls Secure Vehicle Access ART (Agile Release Train) has an opening for a Diagnostic System Architect (DSA). The DSA plays a critical role in defining and executing the diagnostic strategy across the ART, ensuring alignment with GM’s enterprise diagnostic architecture and compliance with internal and external standards.
We are seeking creative, highly motivated, agile thinkers with passion and expertise in Controls and Software, and great attention to detail. The selected candidate will lead the development and governance of diagnostic artifacts, ensuring robust, serviceable, and compliant vehicle systems. In the role of DSA, you will be collaborating with several other areas of engineering and the business (Engineering Stakeholders, Customers and the Product Management Team) to breakdown technical solutions into workable and deliverable chunks.
