Qualifications

  • Technical degree or certification in electromechanics, electricity, or wind turbine maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Certification as a journeyman electrician with a Red Seal is a valuable asset.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability for overtime, weekend on-call duty, and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Executing routine maintenance tasks on wind turbine systems.
  • Conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs for optimal performance.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical system issues.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team on preventive schedules.
  • Utilizing diagnostic tools for issue resolution.
  • Documenting work performed digitally.
  • Adhering to safety protocols.
  • Contributing to health and safety programs.
  • Attending ongoing training sessions.
  • Inspecting and maintaining ENERCON vehicles.
  • Traveling to assist wind parks.
