Job summary

A local printing business in Kelowna is seeking a permanent full-time web developer to consult with clients and design websites. The successful candidate will manage website content creation, design, and testing, ensuring user-friendly and interactive sites. Applicants should possess a relevant college certificate and experience in web design would be an asset. This role requires in-person attendance at the company’s location.

Qualifications

  • Education from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year is required.
  • Experience in website-related tasks is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Consult to develop and document website requirements.
  • Design and integrate website-related code.
  • Source and organize information for website design.
  • Create and optimize website content using various tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate website related code
  • Source, select and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout and flow of the Website
  • Create and optimize content for Website using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software
  • Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Usability testing
