The Early Morning Warehouse Worker is a physical, fast-paced, and labor-intensive role within a warehouse environment that involves sorting/stocking packages as well as loading and unloading them into and out of UPS package delivery vehicles and trailers.

Job Type: Part-Time Permanent

Work Location: 31 Dussek St, Belleville, ON, K8N 5R9

Workdays: Monday to Friday (Must be available to work all 5 days)

Shift Hours: 4:30 AM to 9:30 AM (Flexibility with start and finish times required based on operational needs)

Shift Duration: 3-5 hours per day

Hourly Wage: $17.30

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages into package delivery vehicles and trailers
• Learn and properly execute company-established package handling methods
• Sort and stock packages based on postal code

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Typical package weight ranges from 25-35 lbs.
• Full availability to work Monday through Friday (all five days of the week)
• Must be able to work 25 hours per week
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Comfortable working inside truck trailers and package delivery vehicles
• No prior warehouse experience required

Compensation And Benefits

• $17.30 per hour and automatic progression as per the existing Union Collective Agreement to $30.09 per hour after 48 months of service
• Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per semester (subject to eligibility, program approval, and satisfactory academic performance)

Expenses/Working Conditions
