Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Assemble wood products such as pallets and crates.
- Pack items for shipping and distribution.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading.

Forklift and WMIS certified

Responsibilities
- Assemble wood products such as pallets, crates, skids
- Pack items for shipping and distribution - PACKAGER ONLY
- Install hardware; inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards
- Read and interpret instructions to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Be knowledgeable of and follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide assistance to other activities such as the receiving of materials or cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods
- Operate pneumatic hammers, strapers and other tools as directed
- Operate machines or equipment such as compressors, generators, drill presses, table saws, chop saws and cranes as directed
- Inspect received goods
- Keep work areas neat and tidy
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to commute to work
- Good communications skills
- A positive and safe attitude
- Be able to follow basic instructions and procedures
- A willingness to learn and be involved in the required training
- A natural respect for people, property and the environment
- Forklift and WMIS certified is an asset
- Ability to work night shifts
- Ability to work well with others as well as individually
