Job description

The main purpose of the Warehouse Clerk is to perform shipping, receiving, and general warehousing tasks.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm; Friday 8am-3:45pm

Salary: $19.50/hour

Responsibilities & Duties
Shipping
  • Accurately pick products according to picking list
  • Inspect and verify accuracy of all orders before packing into boxes
  • Securely pack products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Verify shipment information when booking orders into shipping systems
  • Stack and palletize completed orders
Receiving
  • Verify intracompany transfers received from other MEDISCA locations according to picking lists and SOPs
  • Put away and organize materials after receipt/verification into bins, shelves, racks according to SOPs
Inventory Control
  • Perform daily cycle counts of inventory according to SOPs
  • Maintain inventory shelves and racks in a clean, organized, and efficient manner
General house-keeping and cleaning

Abide by all company rules and policies.

Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry is considered an asset
  • Sufficient dexterity for handling small, fragile items
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, lift, and walk throughout the warehouse
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (oral & written)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is considered an asset
