Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license.
  • Strong experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Experience with power apps.

Responsibilities

  • Match vendor packing slips with purchase orders.
  • Examine shipment contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies.
  • Provide purchasers with complete information on order discrepancies.
  • Contact vendors regarding shipment discrepancies.
  • Sort shipments and organize inventory in the warehouse.
  • Maintain organization of the shipping/receiving area.
  • Perform physical activities to load, unload, and move shipments.
  • Cooperate with purchasers in fulfilling parts/shipping needs.
  • Work with Lead Purchaser on repairs and returns.

We are looking to hire a Warehouse Associate based out of our Fort St. John branch. This entry-level role is a great fit for someone early in their career who’s excited to learn and grow within the field of Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities
  • Match vendor packing slips with purchase orders and ensure all orders are received and communicated.
  • Examine the shipment's contents and compare them with the packing slips and purchase orders to confirm the order. Verify that work tickets have accurate quantities and materials.
  • Inspect incoming shipments and check for damaged or missing parts or materials. If goods are damaged, ensure non-conformance procedures are followed and communicated.
  • Provide purchasers with complete information on any order discrepancies or damaged materials.
  • Contact vendors on shipments that have discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Sort all shipments and put inventory items into proper bins in the parts inventory warehouse or prepare customer parts and materials for pickup.
  • Maintain the organization of the shipping/receiving area and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Work with the purchasers cooperatively to fulfill the needs of the parts/shipping-receiving departments.
  • Work with the Lead Purchaser on physical receipt of all repairs and returns and communicate with applicable vendors.
Job Requirements
