A local community organization in Thunder Bay is seeking a full-time Volunteer & Community Engagement Navigator at a salary of $50,000 per annum. This role involves planning, implementing, and administering the volunteer strategy, recruiting and training volunteers, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Location: Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre, 401 N Cumberland Street, Thunder Bay, ON P7A 4P7. This position reports to the Hiring Committee.
The Indigenous Justice Services (IJC) Volunteer & Community Engagement Navigator is responsible for the planning, implementation and administration of the TBIFC Justice Services volunteer and community engagement strategy. This includes the recruitment, training, day-to-day interaction, and ongoing support of all Justice Service volunteers, Council Members, Elders, Knowledge Carriers, and service users. This position will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and coordinate services and support in consultation with individuals and partnering programs.
